Well we had a whirlwind of a time in Bangkok so thank you for all your prayers and support.
We last wrote when we were at the Rangsit Base. There we were busy working on designing and making brochures for their ministries as well as teaching and choreographing new dances for their Changers team. The Changers team is a new evangelism team that has been set up to share the Gospel throughout the nations particularly with youth through creative movement. The dance we made was to a Thai song and the drama was also new.
The task for both the brochure and the Changers team ministry tools was not easy as like we mentioned before there was many people staying at the base. At one point there was more than 80 people in the centre for the Tuesday meeting but God gave us grace and space to do His things!
Usually we would choreograph all morning and then at more than one occasion we taught them to midnight. This was pretty much the case for the design team as they found it difficult to get hold of solid information for each of the ministries to put in the brochures. The information then had to be translated into Thai and sorted correctly into each space!
God gave us the right direction though and we were amazed at the creativity that flowed through us as we called upon Him.
Also during our time in the base we were able to run a Photoshop class, teaching the staff more about the program as well as going to a university and school to perform. Although we hadn’t intended on performing on this outreach as our heart was to really bless and serve the bases we ended up backing up 2 teams from Korea. We performed at a primary school for Chinese New Year with the other teams and had a good time.
We are so happy that God has been guiding us to the right places and given us such interesting opportunities. He has answered our prayers on outreach, He had spoken that we would bless people and we have been given a heart to do that, where sometimes it would be difficult to do such things as we did he increased our willingness to serve.
We will be back in Hong Kong on February 1st!
